My Dream Quinceañera Reimagined

My Dream Quinceañera Reimagined

Remember your quinceañera and the ones of your friends and family? The huge dresses, epic parties, and go-big-or-go-home attitude? Turning fifteen is a traditional rite of passage for a young Latina, when she is leaving behind childhood and looking towards adulthood with beauty, grace, and the support of her loved ones. A quinceañera is a celebration that acknowledges this, while also allowing the teen to show off her own personality and style.

It’s an important milestone in a Latina’s life. That’s why we wanted to let our readers know about “My Dream Quinceañera,” a new Paramount+ series and based on the 39-season show that became AwesomenessTV’s most-viewed series of all time. Not only will you get to relive your quince, or get inspiration for an upcoming one, but you will also get to witness three SoCal teens getting ready to celebrate the big 1-5.

Bayle Delgado, Romi Herrada, and Angelica Luna will let us follow them on their coming-of-age journeys in a season spanning 10 episodes. Making sure the girls have it all on point is expert quince planner Maria Perez. You’ll be able to binge watch the first three episodes on the 16th, followed by a weekly release of the seven following episodes.

Alongside this new series, AwesomenessTV will also release a special short-form episode, “My Dream Quinceañera: Never Too Late.” It follows Juliet, a trans woman, Juliet, who never celebrated her own quinceañera. Living her own truth, and proving to us all that it’s never too late to do so, Juliet finally gets the quince she deserves. You can catch this must-watch episode on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.
